We keep this on a small ironing board right next to my sewing machine so that we can press as we sew and have used smaller irons but this one is just the right size and heats promptly when it is reactivated by running it along the board. The tip is perfect for very small items and it also presses wonderfully for larger pieces. It heats promptly and the non stick surface leaves projects looking very sharp.
